Joint Family Violence Specialist Training Needs Survey now available

The training needs survey produced by DVRCV, DV Vic and NTV is now available. The survey aims to capture the current and future workforce development and training needs of family violence specialists, and identify any recruitment and retention issues.

Click here to complete the survey.

Please complete the survey by Thursday 25 January 2018.

The survey is for all family violence specialists, including those working as practitioners, team leaders, managers, policy and program developers, strategist/networkers etc. It intends to capture information from those working in specialist family violence services and other human and community services such as Child Protection. Mental Health, AoD, Family Services and Homelessness. Some of these services have a sole focus on working with victim survivors or perpetrators of violence; others have a broader remit but have practitioners focusing 80% or more of their time on family violence.

The outcomes from this survey will build on the findings from the Family Violence Workforce Census and provide us with critical information about how practitioners and services are managing the rapidly changing context. The findings will inform the organisational planning and development processes in our individual and collective efforts to support the workforce development needs of the specialist family violence sector and the broader community services sectors in a reformed environment where specialist skills and experience are in significant demand.
