No to Violence calls for sports organisations to promote ways for men who use abuse and violence in their families and relationships to seek help!
Operated by No to Violence, the Men’s Referral Service has trained counsellors who can work with callers to provide free, non-judgemental support to help them understand their behaviour and what they can do to change.
We invite all sports clubs, from the smallest community club to the largest, to display, post or share information about the Men’s Referral Service so men who are being abusive, controlling or violent in their families and relationships can call for support to change their behaviour.
Please download the resources below and share through your own channels to help keep women, children and communities safer.
How can you #liftyourgame?
We encourage men who are worried about their use of abuse and violence towards their partners, ex-partners or families to #lifttheirgame and make the choice to change their behaviour.
We also encourage sports club members to #lifttheirgame on calling out behaviours that are not on. Don’t be a bystander! Stand up!

Why you?
Sport plays an integral part in Australian culture; the attitudes and behaviours modelled by players, coaches, media personalities and supporters are instrumental in shaping the values of communities. This creates an exciting opportunity for sport to be a vehicle for change.
As the peak body working with men to end family violence, we welcome the opportunity to partner with sport organisations who are committed to driving change.
