No to Violence
Thanks to all who attended our NTV 2025 Annual General Meeting yesterday, 27 October, in person and online. It was a great opportunity to pause and reflect on a huge 2024-25 year for us, and our community. The No to Violence team, led by our CEO Phillip Ripper, is made up of talented, passionate people based across Australia, working alongside specialist services, members, policymakers, and communities in each jurisdiction. Across every area of our organisation our people are united by a shared goal: ending men’s use of family violence. We are deeply grateful for the skill, dedication, and care our team brings to this work every day. We thank our Board Chair Tim Lo Surdo and our voluntary Directors for their wisdom, guidance and generosity throughout the year. We thank our funders and supporters, for partnering with us to create a society where respect, equality, and safety are non-negotiable for all. To our members, the work you do every day - helping men take responsibility for their actions and supporting them to make safer choices for those they love - is vital to breaking cycles of violence. We are proud to stand alongside you as we continue to push for radical, lasting change. We step into the year ahead with gratitude for all who share this work and determination to build on the progress we have made together, moving us closer to a future where safety and respect are a reality for every family. ... No to Violence
LAST ENGAGING DADS FOR 2025!!!Join us for a transformative online training event that explores the impact on children witnessing/experiencing abuse and how to shift the focus of interventions to the father's responsibility and accountability for safe parenting. The “Engaging Dads Using Family Violence” training unpacks broader narratives that often attribute responsibility for the safety, security, and emotional wellbeing of children to the victim-survivor. It is underpinned by the current evidence base that has established an understanding of the gender drivers of men’s violence against women. Dates of delivery: 11 and 12 November 2025, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM AEDT (2 x 3 hour sessions) Location: Online via Zoom Cost: $299 (including GST) Don't miss out on this opportunity to deepen your understanding and make a positive impact.
